Breakfast:
eggs with veggies
fruit

Lunch:
Salad with chicken, walnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette

Dinner:
1/2 order of Irish nachos

Snack:
Grapes

Did good today. Ate when I was hungry, went for healthier options. The nachos obviously don't qualify, but I was out with Nazanin and it was fun. Stopped eating nachos when I was full, most importantly. Didn't munch out.

June 8th

Breakfast:
Apple oatmeal
Egg omelet

Snack:
Chocolate chip cookie
- It was there. I didn't even want it. Regretted it after 2 bites and still ate the whole thing.

Dinner:
Bacon cheeseburger
- Hungry and craving a burger. Not impulsive. No regrets (other than the quality of the actual burger).

Reflections:
This is beyond out of hand. You've convinced yourself that you couldn't lose the weight even if you tried, that you're doomed to fail. You're not, you just need help and encouragement. Motivation. You can lose it. You even love the taste of healthy food and you love cooking. So what the heck is the problem?? Planning. Knowledge. SUPPORT. Grant doesn't support, he criticizes passive-aggressively. "So are you going to put that elliptical on kijiji?" "Thanks for basically calling me a failure. Screw you too." I'm not a failure, I just fell off the bus for a while. The bus is still there and all I have to do is hop back on. Healthy food. Exercise. Stop with the junk. Get it out of the house even. Grant doesn't like it, tough. He can buy his own meals or whatever. The only way to stop eating that food is to stop having it in the cupboards at 3 a.m. when you go kitchen raiding. If all you have to raid is healthy, then at least it will be a healthy midnight snack.

Failing to plan is Planning to fail.

If cream & sugar is the difference between 130lbs and 140lbs, then we'll rename this blog to lbs140 :) Pry my damn coffee flavoured sugar-fat water out of my cold dead fat hands.
